Altenew Plentiful Patterns Stand-alone Dies/Stencils Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)
Hello there! Welcome back to my blog! I am so thrilled to join Altenew for the Plentiful Patterns Stand-alone Dies/Stencils Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the amazing Nenette’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.
You can get the entire Stand-alone dies release HERE.
Project 1
First, I placed the Inline Leaves Die Set on watercolour paper and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then I coloured it using Emerald, Limeade and Citrus Burst Watercolour Brush Markers.
While it was drying, I cut the watercolour paper to 3 1/2 * 7 inches. Then I inked an Acetate sheet with Just Green Crisp Dye Ink, sprinkled water on it and used it to ink the card panel. I repeated this process with Fresh Lemon Crisp ink. Once the panel was dry, I splattered Jet Black ink on it. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Positive Vibes Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink and assembled the card.
Supplies:
Project 2
I started by die cutting an A2 white cardstock using the Wave Form Cover Die. Then I inked the pieces using Fresh Lemon, Orange Cream, Heart Beat and Grapevine Crisp Dye Inks along with my ink blending tools.
Next, I die cut the word “you” from white cardstock and the shadow from Jet Black cardstock. After that, I die cut the rest of the sentiment using a die from the You Matter Die Set. I then coloured a strip of white cardstock using Fresh Lemon, Orange Cream, Heart Beat and Grapevine Crisp Dye Inks. Then I die cut them using the same die and stuck them in the sentiment strip.
After that, I used my Orange Cream, Fresh Lemon and Crimson Artist Markers to colour the white enamel dots to match the inks on the card panel. Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck the enamel dots on it.
Supplies:
Project 3
I used the Polka Dot Leaves Die Set and die cut it from Kraft cardstock. To add depth to this die cut piece, I inked the lower portion of the leaves using Jet black ink and the top portion using White Pigment ink.
Next, I die cut the flowers from various coloured cardstocks using the Garden Picks 3D Die and assembled them using precision glue.
After that, I embossed the sentiment from the Never Give Up Stamp Set on Jet Black cardstock (3 1/2 * 7 inches) using white embossing powder. Then I stuck the die cut pieces on the card panel and splattered white gouache on it using a round brush.
Supplies:
Project 4
I started by inking the flowers and leaves on white cardstock using the Impressionist Bouquet Stencil Set along with the Crisp Dye Inks. Below are the colours I used:
Flowers – Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry, Jet Black, Firefly, Just Green
Leaves – Just Green, Evergreen
Next, I die cut them using coordinating dies. To create the background, I inked an A2 cardstock using Just Green and Hunter Green Crisp Dye Inks along with an ink blending tool. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Wings of Hope Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. After that, I splattered Jet black watercolour on the background and then stuck the images on the card panel.
Supplies:
Project 5
I used the Brick Rosette Builder Stencil Set and inked an A2 card panel using Fresh Lemon, Orange Cream, Heart Beat, Just Green, Tide Blue, Azurite and Hydrangea Crisp Dye Inks.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “you” from white cardstock and embossed it a few times using Antique Gold Embossing Powder to make it look like an embellishment. I then stuck it on the shadow that I die cut from Jet black cardstock. Next, I die cut the rest of the sentiment from white cardstock and stuck a Jet black cardstock strip behind it. As the last step, I stuck the sentiment on the card panel using liquid glue.
Supplies:
Project 6
I started by die cutting black cardstock using the second die from the Mix and Match Frames Die Set. Then I embossed the flowers from the Wild Flora Stamp Set using Antique Gold Embossing Powder. Next, I embossed the sentiment from the Inky Lily Stamp Set using gold embossing powder. I also embossed the edges of the card panel using the same embossing powder.
After that, I splattered Gold Metallic Watercolour on the panel using a round brush. Next, I used the largest die from the Mix and Match Frames Die Set and die cut it from Jet Black cardstock. I then used the Enchanted Gold Thread to stitch around the edges of the panel. Lastly, I assembled the card using precision glue.
