Aloe You Vera Much

Hey there! Welcome back to my blog. And yes, I can’t get enough of the Stuck With You Stamp Set from this month’s Maymay Made it Club Stamp, so I had to make another card using it. This stamp is so cute that I don’t know if I will ever have enough of it. 😋

Let’s get started. I stamped the images from the Stuck With You Stamp Set on a sheet from Canson Watercolor pad, fussy cut them using Cutter Bee scissors and coloured them using Zig markers. I then stamped the teacup from the Brewtiful Stamp Set on the same paper and fuzzy cut it. I wanted to give the teacup a texture and for this, I used the flourish stamp.

For the background, I used Distress watercolour cardstock that I cut using the third largest die from the Infinity Rectangle by Hero Arts and splattered Black Soot Distress Ink on it. I then cut a piece from the Painted Blooms Pattern Paper, distressed the edges using Tea Dye Distress Ink and stuck it on the lower half of the background. Then, using my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped the sentiment, sprinkled clear embossing powder and heat set it.

Once I was done with the background, I stuck the cactus and aloe vera inside the cup. After that, I stuck the cup to the background. Then, I stuck this background on to a black cardstock that I cut using the second largest die from the Hero Arts die set.

Finally, I stuck this cardstock on to a white A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
