All About Layering 1

Welcome back to my blog, my crafty friends. Today I am sharing a card I made for the All About Layering 1 Course by Altenew Academy. If you have trouble stamping layered images, I would recommend this course. Nicole Picadura provides loads of tips on how to layer the images perfectly. Altenew layering stamps are easy to layer, and even if you don’t align them perfectly, they still look absolutely gorgeous. It is fun to experiment with the stamps and find out what style suits you the best.

First, I stamped the outline of all the images from the Painted Flowers Stamp Set on an A2 cardstock using Jet Black crisp ink. Then I stamped the layers of the roses using Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Ruby Red crisp inks. I used Just Green and Hunter Green crisp inks to stamp the leaves. Next, I stamped the butterflies using Jet Black, Sunkissed, Orange Cream and Autumn Blaze crisp inks.

After that, I die cut a piece of black cardstock using the word thanks from the Signature Words Die Set. I die cut it twice more and stuck it together for added dimension. The sentiment is from the Best Dad Stamp Set, I masked it partially and stamped only the words “for everything” using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I masked the images and the stamped sentiment. Next, I smooshed Jet black crisp ink on my media mat and splattered it on the panel using my round brush. I then stuck the die cut word on the card panel. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
