Addicted to CAS Challenge #194 – Birthday

Hello there, my crafty friends. Welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the Addicted to CAS Blog, and the theme for challenge #194 is Birthday.

First, I stamped the flower from the Oriental Orchid Stamp Set on an A2 Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I masked it and stamped the leave from the Remember This Stamp Set. I then stamped the flower on top of the cupcake, masked it and stamped the leaf. After masking the leaf, I stamped the cupcake from the Layered Cupcake Stamp Set and masked it. Next, I stamped the flower, masked it and stamped the leaves. Below are the colours of Crisp Dye inks that I used to stamp the different layers.

Flowers:
1st Layer (Outline) – Obsidian Pigment Ink
2nd Layer – Coral Bliss
3rd Layer – Vineyard Berry
4th Layer – Jet Black
Center – Copic Marker Y02

Leaves:
1st Layer (Outline) – Obsidian Pigment Ink
2nd Layer – Just Green
3rd Layer – Evergreen

Cupcake:
1st Layer (Outline) – Obsidian Pigment Ink
2nd layer:
Cupcake – Mocha and Espresso
Frosting – Coral Bliss
Wrapper – Industrial Diamond
3rd layer:
Frosting – Vineyard Berry
Wrapper – Obsidian Pigment Ink
4th layer:
Frosting – Jet Black

After that, I added shadows under the images using my Copic Markers – C4, C2, 0

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Layered Cupcake Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. As the last step, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
