AAA Cards Challenge #184 – Sketch

Hello, my crafty friends. Welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #183 is Sketch + Optional Twist Watercolour.

First, I masked an A2 watercolour cardstock using blue painter’s tape. Then I stamped the image from the Rose Bouquet Stamp Set by Gina K Designs using Fadeout Ink by Inkon3.

To colour the images, I used a few Watercolour Brush pens from the Spring Garden and Winter Wonderland Sets along with my Silver Black Velvet size 2 round brush.

Below are the colours I used:
Roses – Autumn Blaze, Warm Sunshine
Leaves and stems – Emerald, Limeade

Next, I removed the tape and drew the frame around the image using my Copic Multiliner pen and a steel ruler.

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Tiny Words Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. Have a fabulous Sunday.

  1. Good gracious Joy, what sensational colouring! I love those cheerful orange roses and that perfectly drawn black frame sets them off beautifully! Vicky x

  2. Gorgeous colours and colouring. Where you say at the end of your description, you say “Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base” did you have the watercolour card in the size A2 to begin with or did you cut it down to fit afterwards? X X
