AAA Cards Challenge #182 – One Layer
Hello there and welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #182 is One Layer + Optional Twist Silhouettes.
Monika is the Guest Designer for this challenge. Click here to visit her blog and see her fabulous card.
First, I placed one of the stencils from the Rectangles Masking Stencils on an A2 card base and stuck it in place using purple tape. Then I placed the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil on the panel and inked it using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with my blender brushes. Next, I removed the stencil and lightly inked the white portion using the above Distress Inks. After that, I splattered water on the background and dabbed the excess using a paper towel.
Once the panel was dry, I stamped the images from the My Monthly Hero March 2019 and July 2020 Kits using Obsidian Pigment Ink. I stamped the images in the foreground first, masked them and then stamped the images in the background. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero March 2019 Kit using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. Have a beautiful day.
