AAA Cards Challenge #179 – Along the Edge

Hello, and welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #179 is Along the Edge + Optional Twist Snowflakes.

Neeti is our Guest Designer for this challenge, and she has made a gorgeous card. You can click here to visit her blog and see it.

First, I masked the top portion of an A2 card base using Memo Tape by Heffy Doodle. Then I lightly inked the card panel using Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks along with my blender brushes. After that, I stamped the snowflakes from the My Monthly Hero November 2020 and October 2018 kits, Holiday Mittens and Winter Wonderland Stamp Sets using Winter Sky Reactive Ink.

To create the dots on the panel, I used an embossing tool and the Winter Sky Ink. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero October 2018 kit using the Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I stuck the snowflake sequins from my stash using art glitter glue.
