A Blog Named Hero October Challenge – Create Texture

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero, and the theme for this monthโs challenge is to Create Texture. To enter the challenge, post your card to Instagram using the hashtag #abnhoctoberchallenge by 5 pm ET on the 26th of the month for your chance to win one of the two gift vouchers from our fabulous sponsor, Hero Arts.

I stamped the image from the My Monthly Hero September 2021 Kit on a sheet of white cardstock using Intens-ified Black Ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder on it, and heat set it. I repeated this process one more time. Then I inked the images using the coordinating stencils from the kit along with a blender brush.
To create the textured background, I placed the stencil from the My Monthly Hero August 2021 Kit on a white A2 cardstock and inked it using Tide Blue Crisp Dye Ink. Next, I placed the Honeycomb Stencil and inked every alternate part using Tide Blue Crisp Dye Ink and a blending brush. For the rest of the panel, I used Spiral Stencil and inked it using the same ink.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero September 2021 Kit using Intens-ified Black Ink. Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have a beautiful day.
