Daily Marker Challenge – Day 3
Welcome back to my blog, my crafty friends! For Day 3 of the Daily Marker Challenge, I made a card using Altenew stamps and dies.
First, I stamped the outline image from the Build-A-Flower: Cattleya using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I used the layering stamps to ink the rest of the image.
Below are the colours I used for the different layers-
Red Flower: Rouge, Crimson and Velvet Crisp Dye Inks
Yellow Flower: Buttercream, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee Crisp Dye Inks
Leaves and Stem: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen Crisp Dye Inks
I used the Altenew’s June 2019 Challenge picture as an inspiration to colour my images.
Then I die cut them using the coordinating die that comes with this stamp. After that, used an A2 card base and placed the Feathered Leave Stencil on it and inked it using Evergreen Crisp Ink along with a blender brush. Next, I stuck the die cut flowers on the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Dare to Dream Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I am linking this card to the Altenew’s June 2019 Inspiration Challenge and the Simon Says Work It Challenge.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
