You’re the cream in my coffee!
For Day 4 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge, I created a clean and simple card using the Coffee Time Stamp Set by Jane’s Doodles.
I wanted to practice no line watercolour technique, so I made a no line watercolour card. First, I stamped the images on a masking sheet, and fussy cut them. Next, I cut a piece of Canson XL paper using Peek a Frame die set by Mama Elephant. Then I placed the cup I wanted to be in the foreground and stamped it using Antique Linen Distress ink. After that, I masked that cup and stamped the coffee mug. Then I masked the mug and stamped the coffee maker. I used Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp these images. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using the Jet Black ink by Altenew.
Then I used my Zig Markers to colour the image. I start with the darkest shade and then blend in with the lighter one.
Details of the Zig Markers I used:
Coffee maker: Light Gray (091), Gray (090)
Coffee mug: Persian Blue (032), Light Blue (036)
Coffee cup: Green (040), Pale Green (045),
Inside the cup and mug: Brown (060), Beige (072)
Next, I masked the images and used a post it to mask the top part of the card. After that, I used Vintage Photo Distress ink to colour the ground. Then I unmasked the images and outlined the coffee maker using my Copic Multiliner pen. Lastly, I stuck this panel on a white A2 card base using art glitter glue.
