Wishing You Love, Peace and Harmony

My today’s card features the Color Layering Koi Stamp Set by Hero Arts.

I cut a piece of Canson XL paper using the largest die from the Infinity Rectangle Die set. Next, I put a few drops of Deep Ocean Liquid watercolour by Hero arts on my craft mat, sprinkled water and gently placed my cardstock on it. I repeated this step a few times till I was happy with the background. While the background was drying, I stamped the Koi fish on Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock using Buttercream, Orange Cream and Jet Black Crisp inks by Altenew. I then stamped the first layer again using VersaMark ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it. Next, I stamped the lotus using Coral Berry and Ruby Red Crisp Altenew inks. For the centre of the flower, I used Butter Bar ink by Hero Arts. I used Firefly, Grass Field and Mountain Pine Crisp Altenew inks to stamp the leaves. After that, I fussy cut all the images with my cutter bee scissors.

I placed the sentiment on my stamp platform and stamped it on Blue cardstock using VersaFine ink. Then I sprinkled gold embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. After that, I cut the sentiment using my trimmer. I wanted to emboss the edges of the sentiment panel and the background panel, so I ran my VersaFine ink pad over the edges and dipped these panels in gold embossing powder and heat set them. Next, I stuck the lotuses and leaves directly on the cardstock. To add dimension to the card, I used a foam sheet to stick the koi fishes and the sentiment. As a final step, I stuck this panel on a white A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
