Thanks For Being So Sweet
Today I would like to share a card I made using the Altenew June 2024 release.
I placed the Dynamic Duo: Fruitful Fun Stencil on a white cardstock and inked the images using my ink blending brushes and the below dye inks:
Lemon – Citrus Burst, Maple Yellow
Lime – Shadow Creek, Firefly, Misty Sage
Strawberry – Raspberry Sunset, Blush Rose
Yellow banana – Citrus Burst, Maple Yellow, Honey Drizzle
Green banana – Firefly, Pistachio, Citrus Burst, Shadow Creek
Red pear – Heart Beat, Firebrick, Shadow Creek
Green pear – Pistachio, Misty Sage, Shadow Creek, Firefly
Sweet lime – Citrus Burst, Maple Yellow, Shadow Creek
Orange – Firebrick, Autumn Blaze
Note: I use post it sheets to cover the areas I am not working on. This helps me to avoid accidentally inking the card panel.
Next, I placed the coordinating stamp set on my Stampwheel and stamped the details using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then, I die cut all the images using the coordinating die set.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and die cut it using the coordinating die set.
To create the background, I inked the raised portion of the Brick Wall 3D Embossing Folder using Unicorn Pigment Ink. Then I placed an A2 black cardstock on it and ran it through my die cutting machine.
I then stuck the embossed panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue. Lastly, I stuck a white strip to the base of the card front and then stuck the fruits and sentiment on the panel.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay tuned for more cardmaking tips and tricks in my next blog post.
Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️
