Playful Watercolour Flowers

Today I would like to share a card I made using the Stencil Art: Playful Watercolour Flowers Layering Stencil Set and Build-A-Garden: Daisy Crown Stamp and Die Set from the Altenew January 2024 release.

I placed the first stencil on an A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and held it in place using washi tape. I then inked the images using the below Crisp Dye Inks:
Flowers:
Layer 1Citrus Burst, Maple Yellow
Layer 2Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze
Layer 3Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Rhodolite
Centres of the Flowers:
Layer 1Citrus Burst
Layer 2Espresso
Layer 3Just Green
BudOrange Cream, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry
Leaves 1 and stems:
Layer 1Bamboo, Parrot
Layer 2Olive, Moss
Leaves 2:
Layer 1Citrus Burst, Just Green
Layer 2Hunter Green, Green Onyx

Next, I splattered Jet Black Watercolour on the card front.

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Build-A-Garden: Daisy Crown Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink and die cut it using the coordinating die set. Then I stuck the sentiment on the panel and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay tuned for more cardmaking tips and tricks in my next blog post.

Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️
