Perfectly CAS March Challenge – Birthday

Hello and welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the Perfectly CAS Blog, and the theme for challenge #13 is Birthday.

I started by stamping the fox from the Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes Stamp Set by My Favorite Things on an A2 Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black ink. Then I stamped this image on a masking sheet, fussy cut it and stuck it on the card panel. Next, I masked the lower portion of the cardstock using memo tape.

After that, I inked the sky using Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks along with my blending brushes. To create the bokeh effect, I used the Card-Sized Confetti Stencil Set along with Unicorn Pigment ink and a sponge dauber. For the larger circles, I inked a sponge dauber, placed it on the card and gently twisted it.

Then I unmasked the card panel and used my Copic Markers to colour the image.

Fox – E18, E08, YR07, YR16, YR15, W3, W1, W0, 0
Party hat – BG18, BG49, BG13, BG32, BG11, BG10
Gift – G28, G17, G14, YG13, YG11, E99, YR24, Y08, Y02

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Pawty Time Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
