Perfectly CAS January Challenge – Stencils

Hello there! Welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my first post as a part of the Perfectly CAS Design Team, and I am super thrilled. The theme for challenge #11 is Stencils.

I started by masking an A2 card base using memo tape. Then I placed the Sunset Stencil from the My Monthly Hero April 2020 Kit on the card panel and stuck it in place using mint tape. Next, I masked the ground and inked the sky using Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks along with my blender brushes.

Then I removed the stencil and inked the sun using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink and lightly inked the rest of the white portion in the sky using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. After that, I drew the ground using my Copic Multiliner Pen and coloured it using my Copic marker 100. Next, I stamped the tree from the My Monthly Hero April 2020 Kit using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero May 2019 kit using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.

  1. Joy, your card took me to where I want to be right now. A beautiful sunset over the African savannah … The colors are amazing and I can feel the warmth of the hot earth …. what an amazing journey. Your CAS is perfect!

  2. Welcome to the DT, joy! And wow, what a creation! Those colours are just so beautiful, and with the silhouette they just draw your eye to that sunny yellow. Great work, Anita x
