Peace, Love and Hope

Today I would like to share a card I made using the February 2024 release by Hero Arts.

First, I stamped the sentiment from the Peace & Love Stamp Set on Paradise Cardstock using embossing ink. Next, I sprinkled gold embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it. After that, I die cut it using the coordinating die. I then inked the edges using Emerald and Lagoon Fresh Dye Inks and an ink blending brush. Then, I used my Sakura White Gel Pen to colour some designs on the heart.

To make it a balloon, I cut a small piece of triangle from Paradise Cardstock and inked the lower portion using Lagoon Fresh Dye Ink. I then wrapped a Golden thread around it and stuck it on the wrong side using washi tape.

After that, I placed the Colour Layering Clouds Stencils on A2 white cardstock and inked it using the below Crisp Dye Inks and a blending brush:
Stencil Layer 1 – Citrus Burst, Autumn Blaze
Stencil Layer 2 – Autumn Blaze
Stencil Layer 3 – Heart Beat, Rhodolite

Next, I placed the second largest die from the Arches Infinity Dies on an A2 Pitch Black Cardstock and ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

Lastly, I assembled the card panel and stuck it on an A2 card base using precision glue.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay tuned for more cardmaking tips and tricks in my next blog post.

Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️
