Night scene using Vinnie’s Fav Stamp Set

Welcome back to my blog! I made this card for Maymay Made It for this weekโs design team project.
I started by placing the Simple Blend (Circle) Stencil by Brutus Monroe on an A2 Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Then I used Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Mustard Seed Distress Inks along with the Life changing blender brushes to colour the moon.

Next, I cut a hill slope using a masking sheet and masked the ground and used the Stencil to mask the moon. I then coloured in the sky using Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks along with the Life changing blender brushes. After that, I masked the sky and coloured the ground using Black Soot Distress Ink.
Then I stamped the bear and the trees from the Vinnie’s Fav Stamp Set using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. For the plants, I used stamps from 3 different stamp sets- Garden Party, Happy Hibiscus and Christmas Instawreath and stamped them using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. I then masked all the silhouette images and splattered Copic opaque white in the background. To create the illusion of the earth moving, I smudged some of the stars. Next, I used a white gelly roll pen to draw a few stars. As a final step, I stuck this card panel to a white A2 card base.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
