Merry Christmas

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. Today I would like to share the second card I made for this month’s A Blog Named Hero add glitz challenge. To enter the challenge, post your card to Instagram using the hashtag #abnhnovemberchallenge by 5 pm ET on the 26th of the month for your chance to win one of the two gift vouchers from our fabulous sponsor, Hero Arts.

First, I prepped an A2 Cherry Premium cardstock using an embossing powder bag to remove any static. Next, I stamped the image from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set on it using embossing ink, sprinkled gold embossing powder on it, and heat set it. I repeated this process on all the sides of the card panel. Then I embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set using gold embossing powder.

After that, I inked the edges using Heart Beat and Jet Black Crisp Dye Inks along with my ink blending brushes. Next, I coloured a few of the flowers with a white pastel pencil and coloured the stamens of the big flowers using a charcoal pencil.

To add sparkle to this panel, I squeezed out some Clear Sparkle from a Lacquer Pen onto my media mat and used a brush to apply it to all the images. Once the card front was dry, I stuck it on an A2 card base using precision glue.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have an amazing day.
