Daily Marker Challenge – Day 14
Hey there, my lovely friends! Glad to see you back on my blog. For Day 14 of the Daily Marker Challenge, I made a card using stamps by My Favorite Things and Altenew.
Todayโs card is a part of C.A.S.E the Creator Collaboration, where each participant is assigned a partner, and we have to C.A.S.E a project from his/her blog, youtube or Instagram. My partner is Alicia OโBryant and below is her card that inspired me today.
I have updated her social media links below. Her cards are absolutely fabulous. Please visit her, give her some love and donโt forget to follow her.

Letโs start making the card.
First, I stamped the images from the Space Explorer Stamp Set on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Next, I fussy cut them and coloured them using my Copic Markers.
Below are the colours I used:
Space Suit: 100, N3, N1, N0, 0, R89, R39, R29, R24
Face: E0000, E000, E00, E02
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Space Shuttle: 100, N3, N1, N0, 0, 100, R89, R39, R29, R24
For the earth, I used the Big World Stamp Set by Altenew stamped the layers using Sweet Leaf, Just Green, Hunter Green, Tide Blue and Starlight Crisp Dye Ink. Then I fussy cut it using my cutter bee scissors.
Next, I prepped a piece of Pitch Black cardstock by Hero Arts using an embossing powder bag to remove any static. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Space Explorer Stamp Set using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder by Hero Arts, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. Then I cut them into strips using my Tim Holtz Titanium Shears.
To create the background panel, I used a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock and cut it to 4 * 5 1/4 inches using my trimmer. I masked the lower portion using a masking sheet. After that, I created the galaxy using Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks along with an ink blending tool. Then I splattered Copic Opaque White and Perfect Pearls using my round brush on the background. Then I unmasked the panel and coloured the moon and its craters using my Copic Markers- N5 N3, N1, N0, 0.
Next, I stuck this panel on a Black A2 card base. Then I stuck the images and sentiment strips on the card panel using black foam tape.
I am linking this card to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and The Male Room Challenge.
