CDD October Release – Christmas Cheer Trolls
I am so excited to be guest designing for the Craftin Desert Divas Stamp Team for the October Release. I made these two cards using the Christmas Cheer Trolls Stamp Set. They are a cheerful bunch, aren’t they?
Card 1:
First, I stamped the image using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink on a watercolour cardstock, and fussy cut the first two rows. Next, I splattered Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray over A2 cardstock and the fussy cut image to make it look like it was snowing. Then I coloured the Trolls using my Zig markers. After that, I masked the lower part of the A2 cardstock, and I coloured the background with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink along with a mini ink blending tool. Then I stuck the trolls on the background panel. Next, I coloured the ground with my Zig markers.
I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I added small dots all over the card using Silver Gel pen for more texture. After that, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
Card 2:
For my second project, I made a one layer card. First, I stamped the image on an A2 watercolour card base using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Then I coloured the ground and the trolls with my Zig Markers. After that, I stamped the music notes using the same ink. Then I masked the ground and distressed the edges with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink along with a mini ink blending tool.
