CDD December Release – Delicious Wishes
Today I would like to share this card I made for the Craftin Desert Divas December release using the Delicious Wishes Digital Stamp set.
First, I printed the image and fussy cut it using my cutter bee scissors. Then I used my Zig Markers to colour the image.
To create the background, I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock to 5 1/2 * 4 1/4 inches. Then I masked the lower portion using a couple of post its. Next, I used the Sorted Shapes 1 Stencil along with Turquoise ink by Altenew and a mini ink blender to create the background. After that, I masked the top portion and used Tea Dye Distress ink along with an ink blender to colour the ground. I wanted to create a woodgrain panel floor, so I used my Scor-Pal scoring board along with an embossing tool to score lines every 1/2 inch horizontally, and I scored a few random lines vertically. Then I coloured the panels with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress inks using the drag technique.
I stuck the image on the background. As a final step, I stuck this panel on a white A2 card base.
