CDD Creative Challenge – Design Team Favourite
This week is Creative Challenge week at Craftin Desert Divas. We had to make projects using our favourite CDD stamps, dies or stencils, along with our favourite techniques. So, I made a card using the October release stamps and the Winter Village Digital stamp set. I have also used the galaxy background because I love it.โค๏ธ
I printed the Present Snowman, Gingerbread Train, Cheerful Snowman and a few images from the Winter Village Stamp sets on watercolour cardstock and fussy cut them using cutter bee scissors. Then I coloured them using Zig Markers and added details using Sakura white gel pen.
For the background, I cut an 8 * 3 1/2 inches piece from Canson XL paper using my Fiskars Trimmer. I then masked lower part of the paper and coloured the sky using Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress inks along with a mini ink blender. I then splattered white paint to create the stars. Once the background was dry, I masked the sky and coloured the ground using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I then stuck the houses, trees and street lights using art glitter glue. I drew the roads using Copic Multiliner and coloured it with Black Zig Marker. Then I stuck the rest of the images and added shadows below them. As a final step, I stuck this panel on a card base.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
