Altenew Suddenly Spring Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway($300 in Total Prizes)

Hello there! Welcome back to my blog! I am so thrilled to join Altenew for the Suddenly Spring Stand-alone Dies Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from Nicole’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.

Project 1

I started by die cutting the flowers from the Summer Afternoon and Red Cosmos Gradient Cardstock Sets and the leaves from the Green Meadows Gradient Cardstock Set using dies from the Mini Flower Cluster Layering Die Set. Next, I assembled them using precision glue

Then I inked the left side of an A2 card panel using Just Green Crisp ink and my ink blending tool and splattered Jet Black Ink on it.

After that, I die cut a piece of Jet Black cardstock using the Reflection Die Set. Next, I inked the Angled Mosaic Embossing Folder using Antique Gold Pigment ink, placed the above die cut piece in it and ran it through my die cutting machine.

I then die cut the vase from Jet Black cardstock using a die from the Mod Vases Die Set. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Stone Mosaic Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I assembled the die cut elements on the card panel and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Project 2

First, I die cut the vases from the Mantel Decor – Spring Die Set using Jet Black cardstock and coloured the edges using the Enchanted Gold watercolor from the Metallic Watercolor Set. Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock and coloured them using my alcohol markers.

Then I die cut an A2 cardstock using a die from the Circular Elements Die Set

To create the background, I inked an A2 watercolor cardstock using Fresh Lemon, Autumn Blaze and Heart Beat Crisp Inks along with my ink blending brushes. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Build A Flower Coneflower Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

As the final step, I assembled the card using precision glue and stuck the panel on an A2 card base.

I then die cut the solid portion of the Whimsical Garden Layering Die Set from a sheet of Vellum. Next, I assembled the pieces using precision glue.

For the background, I splattered white ink on an A2 Jet Black cardstock. Then I stuck the die cut pieces on the card panel. After that, I die cut the sentiment from the Simple Greetings Die Set and stuck it on the card front.

To create the background, I inked up the Enchanting Vines 3D Embossing Folder using Just Green Crisp Ink, placed an A2 cardstock in it and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then stuck the flowers on this panel using precision glue.
