Altenew Educators’ Hue & You Video Hop + Giveaway

I made this card for the Altenew Educators’ “Hue & You” Video Hop + Giveaway. If you would like to join the hop, please visit my YouTube channel. The last day to enter is the 28th of July.
First, I die cut the flowers, leaves and sentiment from Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Craft-A-Flower: Himalayan Blue Poppy Layering Die Set. Then I inked them using the below crisp dye inks:
Flowers – Azurite, Soft Lilac, Wisteria, Pink Diamond, Lavender Fields, Hydrangea, Tide Blue
Centres of the flowers – Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Firebrick, Red Jasper, Citrus Burst, Bamboo, Parrot
Leaves – Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Shadow Creek, Mountain Pine, Green Onyx
Sentiment – Citrus Burst, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Firebrick
Next, I assembled the images and splattered white gouache on them. After that, I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Circle Quilt Cover Die. I stuck the images and the die cut piece on an A2 Jet Black cardstock.
Then I die cut the sentiment out of black cardstock and white cardstock. To assemble the sentiment, I stuck the white die cut sentiment behind the coloured die cut, slightly offsetting it to create a highlight and then offset the black die cut sentiment to the coloured die cut piece to create a shadow. I then stuck it on the card front. As the last step, I stuck the card panel on an A2 card base.
