Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hey there! Welcome back to my blog! I hope you are having a beautiful day. I am super thrilled to join Altenew for the Color Therapy Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Preeti’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.
Project 1
First, I stamped the image from the Paint-A-Flower: Rosa Floribunda Outline Stamp Set using Embossing Ink on an A2 Kraft cardstock. Next, I sprinkled pure white embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess, and heat set it.
After that, I coloured the image using the White Woodless Colouring Pencil. Then I die cut a rectangle from a masking sheet and stuck it to the card panel. I then inked the edges using Jet Black ink and an ink blending tool.
Next, I used the Black Woodless Colouring Pencil to add shadows around the rectangle. I then unmasked the image and stamped the sentiment from the Whirlwind Flowers Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

Project 2
I started by stamping the flower from the Exotic Tulips Stamp Set on an A2 watercolour cardstock using Frosty Pink Crisp Dye Ink. Then I stamped the leaves and stem using the Minty Mint Crisp Dye Ink. Next, I coloured the image using the Watercolour 36 Pan Set along with the size 2 round Artistsโ brush. Below are the colours I used:
Flower – Pink Diamond, Puffy Heart, Midnight Violet
Leaves and stem – Frayed Leaf, Emerald
After that, I added details to the flower using UltraViolet Fine Tip Pen and Ruby Red Woodless Colouring Pencil. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I roughly cut a masking sheet and masked the centre portion of the card panel. I then used the Dotted Diamonds Stamp Set, inked it using Obsidian Pigment Ink and stamped the frame on the card front. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base using precision glue.

An impressive technique with the roses and a beautiful tulip!
What an awesome way to use the white pencil!
your top rose card is stunning. really makes you look at it, I love the way it stands out. I seem to have better luck with pencils and an aversion to markers. I feel markers are too dark and I can’t correct my mistakes. they scare me. I like the use of the colors also.
Wow so simple but yet so vibrant. Gorgeous cards!
I love the Kraft paper card. Georgous !
Both cards are so pretty, but I really love the feel of your roses! Going to have to try that technique
