Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! I’m so thrilled to join Altenew for the Celebrating Parents Card Drive 2025 Blog Hop + Giveaway. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are approaching and this can be a difficult time for seniors who are in nursing homes or shelters. We want these important people to feel loved, celebrated, and honored, so we have organized the Celebrating Parents Card Drive. Visit the link for more details.

First, I placed the vase die from the Mini Delight: Plants & Vases Stamp & Die Set on Neenah Solar 110lb cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. Next, I stamped the leaves from the same stamp set using a light coloured ink. Then I coloured the vase and leaves using the below markers from the Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set F:
Leaves – Citrus Burst, Firefly, Grass Field, Shadow Creek, Mountain Pine
Vase – Citrus Burst, Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry

After that, I added some gold details using the Gold gel pen from the Must-have Gel Pen Set. Then I stuck the vase on the card front.


I die cut the sentiment from Jet Black cardstock using the “thanks” word die. To frame the vase, I trimmed two thin strips of Jet Black cardstock and stuck it on the card panel.

Lastly, I stuck the card panel on an A2 card base.
