AAA Cards Challenge #172 – One Layer
Hello there. Welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #172 is One Layer + Optional Twist My Other Hobby.
Coni is our Guest Designer for this challenge, and you can see her beautiful card on her blog.
Just like card making, photography too has been my hobby right from childhood. I enjoyed photography so much that I almost became a professional Fashion Photographer. But life had other plans, and I chose to become a Pilates trainer because it brings me joy to teach Pilates and I love seeing the improvements in my clients; so no regrets there. Through all this photography still continues to be a hobby I love so much.
I am also fond of reading and trying new cuisines (both savouring and cooking them 😋). I also take delight in making accessories using beads and crystals, oh how I love those sparkly things. 😍 Sewing is also another hobby I love, but I haven’t had the time in the last few years to pursue it. Oh and I love travelling too, but then who doesn’t. 😋
I know the list of my hobbies is endless, and choosing one of them for this challenge was a challenge in itself. 😉 I was definitely spoilt for choice, but since I love travelling and clicking pictures of flowers and landscapes, this stamp set was a definite win and perfect for this challenge.
First, I stamped the image from the Beautiful Girls – Marti Stamp Set by Picket Fence Studios on an A2 Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Next, I used my Copic Markers to colour it.
Below are the colours I used:
Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R20, R00
Hair – C7, C5, B24
Lipstick – R89, R27, R22, R20
Flower 1 – R27, YR09, YR04, Y38
Flower 2 – Y38, T08, Y02
Camera – N7, N5, N3, N1
T-shirt – BG49, BG13, BG23, BG11
Then I used my Sakura White Gelly Roll pen to add details to the image. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Through The Trees Stamp Set by PinkFresh Studio using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
