A gift for You
Hello and welcome to my blog. I made this card using the adorable Sweet Holiday Penguins Stamp Set by My Favorite Things.
First, I stamped the image on an A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. I also stamped this image on a piece of Eclipse Masking sheet, fussy cut it and masked the image on the card panel. Then I placed the Rectangle Masking Stencil by Taylored Expressions on the card panel and inked the sky using Seedless Preserves, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks along with a blender brush. Next, I inked the snow using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. After that, I removed the stencil and mask and coloured the image using my Copic Markers.
Below are the colours I used:
Penguin – N1, 0, C9, C7, C5, YR04, Y38, Y15
Gift 1 and 3 – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02, R39, R29, R22
Gift 2 – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02, G29, G17, G14, YG13
Shadow – B000, B01, BG11
I then used my Polychromos to add a few details on the image. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Tiny Words Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp using Obsidian Pigment Ink and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
I am linking this card to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge – Anything goes.
