A Blog Named Hero September Challenge – Clean and Simple

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero, and the theme for this month’s challenge is Clean and Simple. To enter the challenge, post your card to Instagram using the hashtag #abnhseptemberchallenge by 5 pm ET on the 26th of the month for your chance to win one of the two gift vouchers from our fabulous sponsor, Hero Arts.

First, I stamped the Color Layering Koi Stamp Set on a sheet of white cardstock using Buttercream, Autumn Blaze and Heart Beat Crisp Inks. I stamped the last layer using Intens-ified Black Ink and then fussy cut the image using my cutter bee scissors.

To create the textured background, I coloured an A2 watercolour cardstock using Deep Ocean Liquid watercolour. Next, I placed a cling wrap sheet on it and pressed it down.

While the panel was drying, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero May 2019 Kit on a strip of Pitch Black cardstock using Embossing Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder, and heat set it with my heat gun. Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
