A Blog Named Hero May Challenge – Shaped Card
Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero and the theme for this month’s challenge is Shaped Card.
First, I die cut the oval from a sheet of white cardstock using a die from the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies. Next, I stamped the dolphin from the Carry The World Stamp Set using Intens-ified Black ink. Then I die cut the circle for the moon using a die from the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies and stuck it on the card panel.
After that, I masked the dolphin and the ground with a masking sheet. Then I inked the sky using Victorian Velvet, Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Inks along with my blender brushes. Next, I splattered white liquid watercolor on the card panel using a round brush.
Then I unmasked the panel and coloured the moon using my Copic Markers Y000 and the Colourless Blender. To colour the sea, I used my Copic Markers B99, B26, B24, B00 and a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Many Everyday Messages Stamp Set using Intens-ified Black ink. After that, I added a few more stars using my Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.
To create the card base, I die cut another oval using the same die as above, scored it at 1/4 inch, applied liquid glue on the scored portion and stuck the card panel on it.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have a beautiful day.
