A Blog Named Hero July Challenge – Repetition

Hello there! Welcome to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero and the theme for this month’s challenge is Repetition.

I started by inking an A2 watercolour cardstock using Pool Party, Splash, Blue Hawaii and Licorice Reactive Inks along with my ink blending brushes. Next, I placed the jellyfish stamp set from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May 2021 Kit in my Misti, sprayed water on it using a mist bottle and stamped it on the inked card panel. Then I used a paper towel to dab off any excess water. I repeated this process a few times and randomly stamped the image on the entire background. Next, I splattered water on the card panel using a round brush and dabbed off the excess water with a paper towel.

After that, I stamped the jellyfish image on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. Next, I used my Copic Markers R29, YR09, YR04, Y38, Y08 and Y00 to colour it. I then die cut it using the coordinating die.

Then I prepped a strip of black cardstock using an embossing powder bag to remove any static. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the My Monthly Hero April 2021 Kit using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder, dusted off the excess, and heat set it with my heat gun.

Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base using precision glue.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card! Have a fabulous day.
