Happy Valentine’s Day

Hello there my crafty friends! I am so glad you stopped by. Today I made a card using the Bunny Hugs Stamp Set from the January release by Isabel Cristina.

First, I printed the images on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. Then I cut the cardstock to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer. I also printed the images on a masking sheet, fussy cut them and stuck them on the card panel.

Next, I created the clouds using Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink along with my blender brush. Then I smooshed Tide Blue Crisp ink, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks on my media mat, sprinkled water on it and splattered it on the background. 

After that, I unmasked the images and drew the pavement using my Copic Multiliner pen. I then used my Copic Markers to colour the images.

Below are the colours I used:
Bunny 1 – W3, W2, W1, W0, R20, R00, W9
Bunny 2 – W3, W2, W1, W0, R20, R00, W9, R27
Hearts – R39, R27, R24, R22, R21
Pavement – C3
Shadows – C5

Then I stamped the word happy from the Big Time Sayings Stamp Set by Maymay Made It using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I stamped the words “valentine’s day” using a stamp from the My Monthly Hero January 2020 Kit and Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I stuck the card panel on an A2 card base.
