Let’s make the mimosa out of this day!

Hey there, my crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a card I made using the My Monthly Hero Jan 2019 Kit and Gal Pal Brunch Stamp Set by Hero Arts.

First, I stamped the images from the Gal Pal Brunch Stamp Set on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Memento Black Ink. Then I fussy cut them using my cutter bee scissors. Next, I used my Copic Markers to colour them.

To create the board, I die cut the wooden frame from a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using a die from the My Monthly Hero Jan 2019 Kit and then coloured it with my Copic Markers. For the blackboard, I used my trimmer to cut a piece of Premium Pitch Black Cardstock. After that, I prepped the cardstock using embossing powder bag to remove any static. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Gal Pal Brunch Stamp Set using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled White Embossing powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it with my heat gun. Next, I used Unicorn Pigment Ink by Hero Arts along with a mini ink blending tool, to create a chalk effect on the board.

For the background, I masked the ground of an A2 cardstock using Eclipse masking sheet. After that, I used the English Brick Wall Stencil by My Favorite Things along with Candied apple Distress Ink and a blender brush to colour it. I then unmasked the ground and drew the tiles using my Copic Multiliner. After that, I used my Copic Markers to colour it.

I then assembled the card using art glitter glue and foam tape. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

I am linking this card to the Celebrate Challenge at A Blog Named Hero, the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and the Simon Says Work It Challenge.

I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
