Artists’ Gouache Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)
Hello there, and welcome back to my blog! I am thrilled to join Altenew for the Gouache Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Erumโs blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.
Project 1
For this card, I placed the Rose Bouquet Stencil on an A2 watercolour cardstock and stuck it in place using washi tape. Then I squeezed some Ruby Red, Pistachio Green and Lagoon Green Gouache on my work surface and used a sponge dauber to colour the flowers and leaves.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together 2 Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
Supplies:
Project 2
I made a sunset / sunrise scene on an A2 watercolour cardstock using a few colours from the Artistsโ Gouache Set. For the mountains, I used the brush pen from the Fine Liner Pen Set.
Supplies:
Project 3
I die cut the bookmark from watercolour cardstock using the Tall Tale Bookmark Die. Then I coloured it using the Primary Yellow and Ruby Red Gouache with a round brush. To create the orange, I mixed the above two colours on my work surface before applying it to the bookmark.
Once the panel was dry, I stamped the images from the Enchanting Beauty Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

Project 4
For this card, I used the Greenwood Flowers Stencil Set on watercolour cardstock and coloured the flowers and leaves using the Primary Yellow, Ruby Red, Pistachio Green, Lagoon Green and Prussian Blue from the Artistsโ Gouache Set. I followed the same technique as the first card. Then I fussy cut the images.
To create the background, I used the Wavy Grid Stencil, Prussian Blue Gouache and a sponge dauber. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Label Love Stamp Set on white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I assembled the card and stuck it on an A2 card base.
