Christmas card using the Holiday Friends Stamp set
For day 12 of #thedailymarker30day challenge, I made a clean and simple card using the Holiday Friends Stamp set by Gerda Steiner Designs and the Starry Circle Die set by My Favorite Things.
I stamped the Angel on a watercolour cardstock and fussy cut it with my cutter bee scissors. Next, I coloured it with my Zig Markers.
Details of the Zig Markers I used:
Skin: Flesh colour (071), Mustard (067)
Hair: Light Brown (061), Flesh colour (071)
Wings: Light Gray (091)
Gown: Haze Blue (302)
Halo: Bright Yellow (052), Yellow (050)
Star: Bright Yellow (052), Yellow (050)
Then I applied Distress Stickles – Diamond over the Halo and the Star. While it was drying, I used the Starry Circle Die set by My Favorite Things and cut a circle out from an A2 cardstock. Next, I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. After that, I used Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks along with a mini ink blender to colour the inner die cut circle.
I then stuck these two panels on an A2 card base. Next, I die cut a piece of white glitter cardstock by Concord and 9th and stuck the stars and the dots on the card. Then I stuck the Angel on the circle using art glitter glue.
