Watercolour card for MFT Card Design Superstar Contest
I love to watercolour my cards and I know I have a lot more to learn but I decided to participate in the MFT Card Design Superstar contest – Coloring Virtuoso category.
I used VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and stamped the critters from the Birdie Brown Frightfully Sweet stamp set on a watercolour card base. Next, I masked the critters and the lower part of the card. I also masked an area for the moon and the tree. This is the first time I tried freehand sketching a tree and I was happy with the final image. Then I coloured the background using Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks.
Next, I unmasked all the images and coloured them using Zig Markers. After that, I masked the area around the moon and coloured it with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
