Thanks for being there!
Welcome to my blog! Today I’m sharing a pastel themed card I made for the Craftin Desert Divas monthly challenge. If you join our challenge, be sure to tag us with #cddcreativeinspiration. Click here for more details.
I started by masking the edges of the card using the memo tape by Heffy Doodle. Next, I placed the images from the Friendship Stamp Set on a stamp platform and stamped them using Memento Black Ink. After that, I masked the images and the sky and used Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink along with the Life changing blender brushes to colour the ground. Then I switched the mask to cover the ground and coloured the sky using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Next, I placed the Sorted Shapes 3 Stencil and inked it using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. After that, I unmasked the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.
I wanted to create a shadow below the die cut word, and so I cut it twice, once from Neenah Solar white cardstock and once from black cardstock. The die is a part of the Greeting Word Dies. Then I offset it a little and stuck it together. I stamped the remaining part of the sentiment from the Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set on black cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkled white embossing powder on it and heat set it. I then cut it into a strip using my trimmer. Lastly, I stuck the sentiments on the card panel.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
