Thanks For All You Do
Hello there! Today I would like to share a card I made using the Altenew June 2024 release.
First, I inked the Sun-Kissed Blooms Embossing Folder using embossing ink. Next, I placed an A2 black cardstock in it and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then I sprinkled antique gold embossing powder on the cardstock, dusted off the excess and heat set it.
After that, I applied white pigment ink to the tips of the petals using an ink blending brush and applied white Pitt Pastel to a few raised areas on the images.
Next, I placed the sentiment from the Build-A-Garden: Daisy Crown Stamp Set on my Stampwheel. I used an embossing powder bag and applied it on the black cardstock to remove any static. I then inked the stamp using embossing ink, sprinkled gold embossing powder and heat set it. Then I die cut it using the coordinating die set.
Lastly, I stuck the sentiment on the embossed panel and stuck the panel on an A2 card base using art glitter glue.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay tuned for more cardmaking tips and tricks in my next blog post.
Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️

Hi Joy! What a cool card! It looks like there is color other than black and gold in some petals! What a cool technique! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much, Traci. ❤️ I also applied white pigment ink and white Pitt pastels on the flowers.
