So very Grateful for You!
For this week’s project, as a part of Maymay Made It Alumni Team, I made a thankful card using three of her vintage stamp sets.
Since I wanted to stamp multiple images, I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. First, I placed the images from the Happy Fall Y’all Stamp set on the Stamp Platform, and then I prepped an A2 watercolour cardstock using the embossing powder bag. After that, I stamped the images using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, sprinkled clear embossing powder and dusted off the excess. I repeated the above process till I covered the entire cardstock. Next, I heat set the embossing powder using my heat gun. After that, I used my Zig Markers to colour the images. I then stamped the berries from the same stamp set using the Ruby Red ink by Altenew. Next, I added highlights to the berries using a white gel pen.
For the sentiment, I cut a 1/2 * 3 inches strip from a white cardstock. I stamped the word “So” from the Sorry Stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Next, I used the sentiment “so very” from the same stamp set. Since I only wanted to stamp “very”, I masked the word “so”, inked the word “very” using VersaFine ink and stamped it on the strip of cardstock. After that, I stamped the sentiment “grateful for you” from the From All Of Us Stamp set. The original sentiment is “grateful for your service”, so I followed the same process as above to stamp a part of the sentiment.
Then I distressed the edges of the cardstock and the sentiment strip using Pine Needles Distress ink along with a mini ink blender. Next, I cut a piece of Black cardstock to 1/2 * 4 1/4 inches and stuck it on the main panel. I stuck the sentiment strip on the black strip. After that, I stuck the cardstock to a white A2 card base using art glitter glue.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
