Encouragement Wall card with Chin Up Stamp Set
For this week’s card at Maymay Made It, I used the Chin Up Stamp set to create a wall of encouragement. We all have those days where we could do with some motivation and this Stamp set has so many amazing ones. I used 3 of these for my card. I kept the card simple as I wanted the focus to be on the sentiments.
First, I stamped the sentiments on black cardstock using VersaMark ink. Then, I sprinkled white embossing powder, dusted off the excess and heat set it. After this, I used the Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink to create a chalky effect.
I cut the frame, the nails and the thread for the frame using the Mini Picture Frames Die Set by Lawn Fawn. I then cut the 3 sentiments that I had stamped earlier to fit behind the frame and stuck the frame on the sentiments. Then, I assembled the rest of the frame.
For the background, I used the bricks die from the Sizzix Mix Media #3 die set to cut out bricks and then stuck them individually on a white Neenah solar A2 white cardstock using art glitter glue. Then, I used Fired Brick Distress Ink with a blending sponge to colour it. Next, I stuck this panel on a white A2 top folding card base. Finally, I stuck the 3 frames on the background.
