Daily Marker Challenge – Day 2
Welcome back to my blog, my crafty friends! For Day 2 of the Daily Marker Challenge, I made a card using Altenew products and Copic Markers.
First, I stuck the Botanical Rhapsody Washi Tape by Altenew on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock, and fussy cut the images with my cutter bee scissors. I used the Altenew’s June 2019 Challenge picture as an inspiration to colour my images.
Below are the Copic Markers I used to colour them:
Red Flowers – R89, R39, R29, R35
Yellow Flowers – E99, YR24, Y08, Y02
Leaves – G29, G19, G14, YG17, G94, YG67, YG63
Next, I die cut a piece of Canson XL cardstock using the Cross Stitched Canvas Die by Altenew. Then I smooshed Mountain Pine, Firefly, Just Green, Lime and Grass Field Altenew Crisp Dye Inks on my media mat and watercoloured the die cut panel using my Black velvet brush. Once it was dry, I splattered some Mountain Pine ink on it.
After that, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using the Watercolour Stripes Cover Die by Altenew. I wanted to create dimension, so I die cut it two more times and stuck the panels together. Then I splattered Mountain Pine and Jet Black Altenew Crisp Dye Inks on it.
I then stamped the sentiment from the Label Love Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink and cut it to a thin strip using my trimmer. Next, I assembled the card and stuck the sentiment using Black foam tape by Ranger.
I am linking this card to the Altenew’s June 2019 Inspiration Challenge and the Simon Says Work It Challenge.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
