Craftin Desert Diva’s Tribal Sloth

For the final day of the August release at Craftin Desert Diva’s Blog, I made two cards using the Tribal Sloth Digital Stamp and the Outdoor Tribal Digital Stamp by Craftin Desert Diva’s.

As I do for all my digital stamps, I printed and fussy cut the images. Then I coloured them using Zig markers. I have mentioned the rest of the process of both the cards below.

Card 1: Tribal Scene
I tore a piece of masking sheet and masked the area where I wanted to colour the sky and the sea. Then I coloured the ground using Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink. To add texture, I used Ground Expresso Distress Ink along with my Nuvo Brush and dabbed the ink on the paper. I then masked the ground and coloured the sea using Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. For the sky, I used Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. I cut a strip of paper for the tree and coloured it with zig markers.

Then I stuck the images on the background and stuck this panel to a white A2 top folding card base.

Card 2: I love you slow much
First, I cut the frame using the largest die from Inside Scalloped Rectangle die set. Next, I cut a watercolour paper to the same size coloured it using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink in the middle and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink towards the edges. Then I stuck the frame on the background panel and stuck the 2 sloth images on it.

Finally, I stuck this panel on a white A2 top folding card base.
