Altenew’s 11th Anniversary Celebration Instagram Hop + Giveaway (over $3,600 in Total Prizes)

I am thrilled to share the card I created for Altenew’s 11th Anniversary Celebration Instagram Hop! It is such an honour to be part of this special event. First, I stamped the image from the Build-A-Garden: Sulfur Cosmos Stamp Set on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I coloured it using the below Fresh Dye Inks:
Flowers – Citrus Burst, Orange Cream, Autumn Blaze, Firebrick, Red Jasper, Rhodolite
Leaves – Firefly, Grass Field, Mountain Pine

To create the background, I inked the edges of an A2 green panel using Mountain Pine and Jet Black Fresh Dye Inks along with a mini ink blending brush. Then I placed the cardstock in the Raised Sentiments 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the die cutting machine. After that, I applied embossing ink on the raised portion of the cardstock, sprinkled Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powder on it, dusted off the excess and heat set it.

Next, I placed the Piped Waffle Die on a sheet of Jet Black Cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. I then randomly applied embossing ink using a sponge dauber, sprinkled Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powde on it, and heat set it. I cut it randomly into a few pieces and stuck it on the background panel.

After that, I embossed the sentiment from the Build-A-Garden: Daisy Crown Stamp Set using the Antique Gold Crisp Embossing Powde. Then I used the coordinating die to die cut the sentiment.

I then assembled the card front and stuck the panel on an A2 card base using liquid glue.
