Altenew October 2023 Monthly Release Video Hop + Giveaway

I started by die cutting the base and top of the skates using Jet Black cardstock. For the blades of the skates, I used Gilded Glitter cardstock, and for the rest I used the Pink Brilliance Glitter cardstock.

To add highlights to the skates, I inked the front portion of the skates using white pigment ink and a blending brush. After that, I assembled the skates using liquid glue.

Next, I inked an A2 watercolour cardstock using Ultraviolet, Ultramarine, Tide Blue, Andromeda, Azurite and Midnight Violet Dye inks along with an ink blending brush. Then I sprayed water on the cardstock using the Fine Mister and used a paper towel to dab off the excess. After that, I placed the cardstock in the Layered Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. 

I then stamped the sentiment from the Dry Brush Poinsettia Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. 

Lastly, I stuck the background panel on an A2 card base and then stuck the skates on the card front.
