Altenew Mini Delight: One in a Melon
Hello and welcome back to my blog! It’s time for the Altenew Mini Delight: One in a Melon reveal! Altenew is giving away a $25 gift certificate to 4 lucky winners on Instagram, click here to join the Hop.
For my card, I inked an A2 cardstock using Maple Yellow and Heart Beat Crisp Dye Inks along with my blender brushes. Since I wanted the colour to fade on top, I started ink blending from the bottom to the top. Next, I inked the bottom portion using Just Green Crisp Ink. Then I splattered Jet Black Ink on the panel.
To stamp the watermelon slices, I used the below colours.
Watermelon 1: Vineyard Berry
Watermelon 2: Maple Yellow and Honey Drizzle
Watermelon 3: Coral Bliss and Vineyard Berry
After that, I stamped the seeds using Obsidian Pigment Ink. For the rind, I first inked the stamp using Just Green Crisp Ink and then I used the edge of Mountain Pine Crisp Ink to create a line randomly through the stamp. Then I stamped it and repeated this process for all the watermelon slices.
Next, I used the coordinating die to cut out these images and stuck them on the card panel. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for joining me today. Have a fabulous day.
