Altenew Educators’ “Macho Makes” Instagram Hop + Giveaway

I made this card for the Altenew Educators’ “Macho Makes” Instagram Hop + Giveaway. If you would like to join the hop, please visit my Instagram post. The last day to enter is the 20th of June.
I started by placing the dies from the Calming Koi Die Set on Neenah 110lb cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. I repeated this step one more time. Next, I inked the third layer of the Koi Fish using Amber Blaze and Citrus Burst Fresh Dye Inks and ink blending brushes.
Then I used the 02 Fine Liner Pen to draw the eyes. You can also use the stamp set to stamp the eyes. After that, I placed the Calming Koi Stamp Set on my Stampwheel and stamped the marks using Amber Blaze and Melted Butterscotch Fresh Dye Inks. To stamp the last layers, I used Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then assembled the koi using art glitter glue.
After that, I placed the Water Builder Stencil on a white A2 cardstock and inked it using Lagoon and Emerald Fresh Dye Inks. Then I flipped the stencil and used Mountain Mist Fresh Dye Ink to ink the panel.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on Neenah Solar white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I trimmed it to a thin strip using the Tim Holtz Trimmer.
Lastly, I stuck the images on the card front and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay tuned for more cardmaking tips and tricks in my next blog post.
Until then, live creatively and spread the joy of handmade art. ❤️
