Altenew Build-A-Flower: Laelia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog! It’s the first of October and that means it’s time for another Build-A-Flower: Release by Altenew. I am so excited to join the Build-A-Flower: Laelia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. I started by stamping the outline of the image from the Build-A-Flower: Laelia Layering Stamp & Die Set on a sheet of white cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I used the below Crisp Dye inks for the rest of the layers:
Flower:
1st Layer – Coral Bliss
2nd Layer – Heart Beat
3rd Layer – Coral Berry
4th Layer – Fresh Lemon
5th Layer – Ruby Red
6th Layer – Jet Black
Leaves:
1st Layer – Hunter Green
2nd Layer – Evergreen

After that, I added details on the flower and leaves using my Polychromos colour pencils and used the coordinating die to die cut the image. Next, I stamped the solid leaves on a white A2 cardstock using Hunter Green Crisp Dye Ink. Then I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp using Obsidian Pigment Ink and splattered Jet Black Ink on the panel.

Next, I placed the Mid-Century Frame Die on Jet Black cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. Lastly, I assembled the card using precision glue and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
