AAA Cards Challenge #192 – One Corner
Hello and welcome to my blog, my crafty friends. We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog, and the theme for challenge #192 is One Corner + Optional Twist Childhood Memories.
Marieke is the Guest Designer for this challenge. You can click here to visit her blog and see her stunning card.
I have so many amazing childhood memories that it was very difficult to choose one. But when I saw the Ni Hao Stamp Set by Waffle Flower, this memory from when I was 6 came to my mind. Since not many people know about it I thought it is a fun one to share. I have always been inclined towards martial arts, which I believe may have stemmed from my parents having enrolled me in a Karate class when I was 5. Yes I was a Karate kid, and loved every bit of it! ๐โบ๏ธ
I used to look forward to the class every weekend and enjoyed being a part of it. Just thinking about those days brought so many pleasant memories. Learning karate has been one hell of a journey and my fascination for martial arts continues to this day. I love trying different forms of martial arts and my current favourites are Kung Fu and Muay Thai. โบ๏ธโค๏ธ
Do you love martial arts too? Let me know in the comments. โค๏ธ
I started by stamping the image on an A2 cardstock using the Fadeout Ink by Inkon3. Next, I added the details to the image with my pencil and outlined it using my Copic Multiliner pen. Then I used my Copic Markers to colour it.
After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Paint-A-Flower: Anemone Outline Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink and stuck the card panel on an A2 card base.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you so much for joining me today. Be sure to visit this monthโs challenge post for more inspiration from the design team. Have a beautiful day.

Ha my brothers did Judo and I was stuck in ballet class, or they went to the swimmingpool and I was stuck in balletclass, needless to say that didn’t last long haha. Great card and childhood memories
Now this doesn’t really come as a great surprise. If I had to pick a sport for you I think I would have gone for a martial art. Just seems to match your photo so well. Fantastic card Joy.
What a wonderful creation!
Fantastic childhood memories and fabulous card!
