AAA Cards Challenge #165 – Up To One Third
Hello and welcome to my blog! We have a new challenge at the AAA Cards Blog today, and the theme for challenge #165 is Up To One Third + Optional Twist A Repeating Image.
We have the talented Helen as our Guest Designer for this challenge. You can click here to visit her blog and see her awesome card.
First, I die cut a masking sheet using the Photo Booth Strip Die by My Favorite Things. Then I removed the backing sheet and stuck it on an A2 top folding card base. Next, I used the memo tape to mask the rest of the cardstock and inked the squares using Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks along with my favourite blender brushes by Taylored Expressions.
After that, I placed an image from the Pressed Flowers Stamp Set by My Favorite Things on my Misti and stamped it using Obsidian Pigment Ink. To avoid stamping on the adjacent squares, I masked them with memo tape. I changed the angle of the stamp for each square to make it look slightly different. To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Typed Sentiments Stamp Set by Neat and Tangled using Obsidian Pigment Ink.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.

Very pretty and clever way to repeat an image
So gorgeous Joy! I wondered how you achieved this design, thanks for the clear instructions.
Joy, I love all your creations but I think this is one of my favourites! Beautifully elegant and the colours make the whole design so incredibly eye-catching! Wonderful!
Joy, your ink blending on those squares is perfect! A great card!
