A Blog Named Hero April Challenge – Anniversary
Hello and welcome back to my blog. We have a new challenge on A Blog Named Hero and the theme for this month’s challenge is Anniversary. We are celebrating our 9th anniversary with an Instagram Hop and Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card. Click here to participate in the hop and to have a chance at winning it.
I started by stamping the images from the Gal Pal Brunch Stamp Set on a Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. Then I stamped the flower from the Tranquility Stamp Set, masked it and stamped the slice of cake from the Time for Cake Stamp Set. I also stamped the cake from the same stamp set using Intens-ified Black ink. Then I fussy cut the images and used my Copic Markers to colour them.
Below are the colours I used:
Champagne Bottle – R39, R29, R24, C9, E99, YR24, Y08, Y02, Y000, G28, G17, G14, YG13
Champagne Glasses – Y08, Y06, Y02, B02, B00, B000
Cake – E55, E53, E51, E50
Icing on the cake – E49, E59, E57, E55
Slice of cake – RV19, RV17, RV14, RV13, RV21, RV10, RV69
Flower on top of the slice of cake – RV17, RV14, RV13, RV21, RV10
I created the background with my Copic Markers as well. For the window, I used Copic Markers – YG13, YG11, B00, B000, 0 along with Sakura White Gelly Roll pen. Next, I used Copic Marker C1 to colour the table.
After that, I stuck the images on the card panel using precision glue. Then I added shadows below the images using my Polychromos – 232. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Time For Cake Stamp Set using Intens-ified Black ink. Lastly, I stuck this card panel on an A2 card base.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you join the challenge for a chance to win a Hero Arts gift card!. Have a wonderful day.
